Golladay and Golliday Families in America (Volume I)

Extensively revised and expanded, Volume I contains the family tree of descendants from German ancestors, Bibliography and Index. The January 2021 draft edition encompasses 13 generations of family members, over 18,000 names, in over 1,800 pages.

Golladay and Golliday Families in America (Volume I Bridge)

In recent years, and with the support and participation of many African-American Golladay and Golliday families, the Volume I Bridge includes family members sharing our family surnames dating back to the early 19th century and coming forward. These family members do not appear to have any direct lineage with our German ancestors identified in Volume I, and will therefore have their own Family Generation reports and Family Group Sheets published in a new Volume I Bridge. This volume remains open continuously for new information, corrections and photographs.  There are at least three major disconnected families in this volume, if not more.

Golladay and Golliday Families in America (Volume II)

Extensively revised and expanded Volume II contains family members in the Military; maps of key Golladay and Golliday locations in the United States; and individual Family Photograph Albums, where sufficient numbers of photographs have been provided. All known black and white family members are included.

Golladay and Golliday Families in America (Volume III)

Volume III contains detailed reports for US Census years 1790 thru 1940. All 1850 through 1930 US Censuses have been thoroughly reviewed, documented and are published in this volume.  Each decade, from 1790 thru 1940, is an individual file.  The last few decades came in at about 97 pages each.  Figuring roughly 25 family member names per page, there are approximately 2,500 names listed for decades 1920 thru 1940.  I plan to go back and review the 1790 thru 1840 US Censuses before May of 2021.

All known black and white family members are included.

Golladay and Golliday Families in America (Volume IV)

Volume IV identifies all known family member tombstone and grave-site memorial numbers documented in the free website www.findagrave.com. Individual reports will be grouped by state, then in alphabetical sequence by name. Large counties and even some large cemetery reports will also be produced. All known www.findagrave.com Memorial Numbers will be identified and provide links to our black and white family members. In the January 2021 draft edition, there are presently 8,036 deceased family members identified in over 200 pages.
